Popular Limited Edition Pink Lufkin® Tape Returns; ATG Donating $15K to Komen Foundation
Apex Tool Group's Lufkin® brand is once again offering a limited-edition pink measuring tape at Lowe’s this October to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These 25-foot tapes were originally launched at Lowe’s in 2013, and by popular demand have returned every year.
Every year, Apex Tool Group donates a portion of the proceeds from this special pink Lufkin measuring tape to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Including this year’s donation of $15,000, ATG will have contributed a total of $90,000 to the Komen foundation since 2013. “The campaign is always a huge success, and the tapes sell very well,� says Brendan Walsh, Senior Product Manager, Branded Trade Tools. “We’re proud to work on this promotion. So many have been impacted by breast cancer � we are honored to support this worthy and important cause.�
